Everything you need to install the kit is included and the pico and diode are pre-soldered to the flex. The chip is also preflashed. All that is required is a Phillips screw driver. You open the console, insert the flex cable into the dvd drive connecto, insert the dvd drive back into the connector, close up the console, and insert an sd card into the sd2sp2 adapter with Swiss on it titled “ipl.dol”!
Included in this kit:
- genuine raspberry pi pico pre-soldered to flex and preflashed to boot “ipl.dol” from sd card
- diode pre-soldered to the flex
- 3d printed mounting bracket with screws (black)
- gamebit screw driver (needed to open console)
- Sd2sp2 or GC2SD version 2.0 (significantly improves video playback and compatibility with games
The only thing not included in the kit that is required is a Phillips screw driver!
I have supplies for the first batch of 50 units. If those sell well I will do another batch about a month after they sell out.

You can skip all the soldering instructions!
If you want the original start up animation, you can add cube boot to you sd card and rename it ipl.dol, from there you can change the ini to allow for custom color boot logos, boot delay (if you tv takes a second to recognize the input), and more. Cubeboot GitHub can be found HERE
