Decided to keep my Switch v2 instead of jump to a pre-modded switch oled. Glad I did that since switch two also has an lcd screen.

Ya know, everything cost me only $185! That's for a switch repair, chip install and a 512 GB micro SD! Worth the investment! After a few weeks of testing my rails to make sure they work, I can happily play my switch between my college classes! I am also able to mod it now! Thanks a ton u/L3gendaryBanana!

Sent in my V1 Switch for customization based on recommendations found online. Turnaround was only a couple of days plus shipping. Received console back and all the necessary software was already set up for me. Console works perfectly and I was able to use it right away. Would definitely use So-Cal Console Modding again.
I wanted to get the switch customized during the Christmas period. I expected some delays due to the holiday season, but the switch was modded in 1 week (from shipping to return). When I asked for instructions on how to operate the modded switch, I was sent a link to a very useful site. I just wish, there were more beginner friendly instructions on how to take full advantage of the customized switch.

Should’ve sent my Switch in sooner. Would’ve been way more cost effective than wasting money on overpriced rereleases and full priced games that are 7 years old. Plus it opens up the Switch to more than just the standard games. Emulating some of my favorite classics. Shipping was fast, communication great.
