What Does a Modchip do?

A Modchip allows your console to load software other than a consoles original software. This typically makes it so you can install custom themes, run custom software and tools (aka "homebrew"), and play downloaded game files.

Can my Nintendo Switch be modded?

Yes! All switch models and firmware versions can be modded. If a new update comes out it usually only take a week for the custom firmware to be updated to support it.

I've never modded anything and that seems complicated, will I have a hard time?

We are setting up a collection of guides and resources for everything you need to get the most out of your switch. When your switch ships back to you, you will receive a collection of guides and resources on how to navigate and use all the tools and features. 

Can I play games online?

The system is said up as a dual boot. You can either boot into the official firmware or the custom firmware. You can play games you own on the official firmware normally, including online. On the custom firmware Nintendo’s services are blocked to prevent your console from being banned. So you cannot play online with games you don’t own. 

Can I use any microSD card?

You can have us include a known working card for you, or you can provide a Sandisk (imagemate models don't work well), Samsung, Lexar, or Amazon basics card. 

Does it come with games?

Our packages come ready out of the box for you to use how you would like but we do not include any illegal files or piracy. 

Do I need to supply any chips or hardware?

No, we provide any hardware necessary! You just need to provide or purchase an sd card and console. 

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No, return shipping is included in the price!

How long does it take?
